Media centre PRESS RELEASE issued on behalf of Scenic Blue SCENIC BLUE LAUNCHES BESPOKE TRAINING INITIATIVE A brand new training initiative designed to cater for the specific needs of professional landscape businesses has been launched by Scenic Blue (UK) Ltd the UKs only landscape gardening franchise. The innovative scheme, launched at the companys annual summer convention was developed in response to the failure of standard horticultural training qualifications to provide a dedicated training resource pertinent to individuals working in the domestic landscape sector traditional courses are attended by landscape staff working across a variety of sectors. The SBTI (Scenic Blue Training Initiative) focuses on the delivery of all the practical and statutory skills required to build gardens for the public in addition to the provision of essential business skills necessary to establish a commercially successful landscape business. Business based modules covered in the course include client care, site management and evaluating profitability. Every Scenic Blue employee working within the 37 strong franchise network will now have their training monitored on individually data based training records. Upon successful completion of each module, staff will receive a certificate which will be filed within the individuals personal training folder.
