SCENIC BLUE LAUNCHES NEW GARDEN DESIGN SERVICE

Inspirational design can enhance as well as extend your outdoor living space and now it's even easier to translate your dream garden into a design reality with the launch of Scenic Blue's exclusive Garden Design Service. Scenic Blue - the UK's only landscape franchise - has joined forces with Marshalls, leading manufacturer of garden landscaping and driveway products to offer homeowners direct access to Scenic Blue's award-winning design team.

If you're looking for a unique garden design which delivers superlative style balanced with the practical functional needs specific to your lifestyle, choose from one of the three different garden design packages, each developed to meet varying customer requirements.

The DIY Garden Design Service

This option equips you with everything you need to plan and design your own garden, for just £25. If you select the DIY service you will receive an entry-level pack which contains:

•  a copy of Sven Wombwell's "Lifescapes" book and a copy of Marshalls' latest product brochure

•  a range of different garden designs to suit different shapes and themes

•  important Do's and Don'ts in garden planning

•  installation advice

•  graph paper to plan your space

•  a copy of Garden Living magazine with a subscription offer

The Professional Garden Design Service (suitable for level sites up to 200 m square)

The Professional Service entitles you to a professional consultation to discuss your garden design, supported by a colour design concept sketch and recommendations on materials and planting schemes. The standard Professional Garden Design Service costs £250 and includes a pre-consultation pack which contains:

•  an outline of the proposed Garden Design home visit

•  a detailed questionnaire which you will need to complete and return to Scenic Blue in advance of the agreed visit to ensure the designer is fully prepared when he / she arrives for the consultation

•  copy of Garden Living magazine and a subscription offer

Once the questionnaire is returned to Scenic Blue, a one hour design consultation is arranged with a member of the Scenic Blue Garden Design team. This meeting provides the opportunity to discuss your personal requirements and agree an outline budget, to enable the designer to produce a practical and affordable plan in line with your expectations.

A garden design is produced and two copies are posted to you direct.

The Gold Professional Garden Design Service (suits larger schemes or sites with unusual characteristics)

This option enables you to a total garden design and installation solution (the initial consultation is £125). The Gold Professional Garden Design Service includes a pre-consultation pack as per the Professional Garden Design Service (and a copy of Garden Living magazine / subscription offer), following receipt of the completed pack a preliminary one hour consultation is arranged with a member of the Scenic Blue Garden Design team. At this meeting a site survey is made, brief taken, service levels agreed and an outline budget set. If you agree to proceed with the service, a fully costed design proposal is then prepared and submitted for consideration. If approved, a fully scaled Garden Design plan is produced, along with a comprehensive planting scheme / and costed installation options.
