Media centre PRESS RELEASE issued on behalf of Scenic Blue LANDSCAPE FRANCHISE SWEEPS BOARD AT INDUSTRY AWARDS The power of franchising packed a powerful punch at this year’s landscape industry annual awards lunch - hosted by TV gardener Chris Beardshaw - when Scenic Blue, the UK’s only landscape gardening franchise swept the board picking up no less than four prestigious awards. The established BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries) Awards represent the ultimate accolade in the world of landscaping and the Scenic Blue franchisees were competing against the crème de la crème of the industry. Despite having traded for less than two years, Scenic Blue franchises operating in the Guildford, Leeds, Exeter and Northampton territories beat off stiff competition to bring home two Principal (winner) Awards in the £10 – 50,000 and £50 – 150,000 categories and two National Awards (runner up) in the £5 – 10,000 and £10 – 50,000 categories. In addition, Scenic Blue Northampton was credited with a further accolade winning the title of Best Newcomer. Commenting on the collective triumphs, Tony Mundella, franchise director said “these successes validate the power of franchising.
