CALLING ALL BUDDING GARDEN DESIGNERS

If you think you've got a flair for garden design and could really give gardening celebrities like Diarmuid Gavin and Matt James a run for their money, then Scenic Blue's Urban Garden Challenge - which takes place at Urban Gardens 2005 Olympia 5-8 May - will provide the perfect opportunity to showcase your outdoor design skills to a live audience!

The Urban Garden Challenge invites ordinary people (not established gardeners / designers) to get creative and design a small urban garden (9 square metres) in just one hour.

Aided by access to the fantastic array of landscape materials, garden furniture and accessories which Scenic Blue will be exhibiting on its show stand, the participants will be expected to deliver a design capable of transforming a blank canvas into the ultimate urban retreat.

The proof of each contestant's design prowess will be put to the test when the professionals (the Scenic Blue team) are given just one hour to interpret the plans and build the garden on stage.

Over the course of the 3 day show, Scenic Blue will be inviting six members of the public to demonstrate their genius garden design

capabilities. So if you're a budding garden designer and the lure of the spotlight is calling you - get down to Urban Gardens 2005 and visit Scenic Blue on stand C6.
